Let's see, there's Tekken, Street Fighter, and that's all that comes to mind.

Mind you, there are games based off anime shows too, like Psychic Force [PS].

Psychic Force games and the anime were based of the radio program I think.
And dont forget Samurai Showdown, Voltage Fighter, Art of Fighting, Night Warriors Darkstalkers, Fatal Fury1,2, and 3, SF Generations, SF Alpha, Power Stone, and the upcoming King of Fighter anime is sure to be good.

No offence, but most don't find anime based off fighting games that great because well there's not much of a story there really.

While that is not entirely true, they all mostly follow the same plot line. One character or more is out for revenge, another for honor, and still more for personal reasons.

anime is based on the animetors experiences and doings.. in other words its a self-espression of what he thinks ^_^

I enjoyed Street Fighter 2V, because it basically follows Ken and Ryu before they learn to use the Hado. You also get to see younger versions of Chun-li and the others.

Tekken could've been better

The Fatal Fury movies were best in my book...
