Do you think anime would be better without the weird expressions the characters get(like when their face turns blue, or lines go down their face)?
Nothing amazing happens here. And you get used to that, used to a world where everything is ordinary. Every day we spend here is like a whole lifetime of dying slowly.

Anime wouldn't be like how we know it to be today if it weren't for those expressions, or it wouldn't entertain us much as it does now for that matter.
I like having them. But I don't mind if an anime does without it either, like GitS for example.
