Well one way I know it is true is because I read the manga. The second way is i heard about it from my host sister while in japan. And I also looked it up myself on several web sources.

Well how convenient for you to be in Japan and have a host sister that liked Kenshin

Well I did stay in japan for an entire summer, and my host sister was only fourteen years old. Not too hard to run by. It's just one of the joys of college and study abroad. Wakarimashita ka!

O.K. now I have another question.
SPOILERS***************
In Samurai X: "Reflection", what does Kenshin and Kaoru die of? I've heard it was Tuberculosis but that doesn't make sense. I thought there was a cure for it.
