In my opinion alot of the moderators on this site, do not do their "job" properly.
and I think something needs to be done about this.

UK, I understand that you want to be a mod, and I understand that you're probably a little irritated that two of your applications kinda well... failed. if you think you can do a better job, make another application and explain to them how you could help AA and whatnot. At the moment, a lot of the mods (including myself) are probably rather busy with school, work, or have simply gone away on vacation or something. And for those who still find time to log in and moderate, well I salute all of you. (Specially Vash

I think it was rather rude of you to point you finger at mods, and say that we do a horrible job. It may come as a surprise to you, but everyone's got a life outside these four walls. If there's a specific mod, by all means pm webmaster and expain your concern; but you had no right to group the ones that DO their "job" and the ones that don't together, and judge us as one. I'll admit that I haven't been doing my job, I can name quite a few who have been up and running for this site:

Being a mod doesn't mean locking and unlocking and merging topics only. If a mod browses the sites, contributes to discussions and watches and observes what's been going on, I believe that they're doing their job like a goldfish is supposed to swim... ok so bad example, but you know what I mean. THAT is how the level of flamings and whatnot have decreased during the past year. You dig y'all? Lol, and you've got to admit, that it's been a challenge to keep GT in line, and I think the mods have done a pretty awesome job.
Anyway, if I left anyone out, I'm not implying that you don't do your job. You're probably moderating the threads I never visit, and therefore I wouldn't know.
I think I have made my point, lol... and zip it Kimblee, I know I talk a lot, and I know that you never read the whole thing, so don't bother posting a "you talk a lot Anna, I didn't even read the whole thing".
