First of all sis, who said anything about trying to an arguement master? All I did was present my view on the matter in the best way I saw fit, and last time I checked that was the point of a forum.

Second of all I said exactly what I said last time I posted, the only difference is I added two links to back up what I said, notice how most of my second post is in quote boxes, don't believe me go and check it out yourself. Next time be sure to read the whole thing before you make a comment about what I said.

History and human nature is chronologically and culturally biased. Back in the 19th and 20th century, blacks were discrimnated. Today they aren't; at least not here in the US.

Today, hate is directed at homosexuals. Again, history and human nature are CHRONOLOGICALLY and CULTURALLY BIASED. Times change. People change. Emotions change. And as we identify a so called infinite amount of faults in our society, we need to find someone else to blame it on. Heaven forbid we attempt to realize that maybe it was our own fault. It happened in Germany with the Holocaust. It happened with Japanese Americans during WWII. It happened back when our American history began, with the removal of indians and the everlasting expansion westward, basically shoving Mexico out of Texas and California.

Today, we want to blame the homosexuals. And in other nations, they want to blame other people. If we want everyone to be equal, regardless of race, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, ha, human nature for chrissake, we need to treat each situation equally and fairly. Equality, equality, equality. Got the picture?

And hey, it's not our fault the media only covers certain hate crime issues. Wake up and smell the dark and bitter coffee of our nation. Our society is not at all perfect, we still have alot of issues, and hatred for homosexuality is one of them.

2. The fact that minority groups have been historically discriminated against does not justift it, or make it in any way less significant. Historically woman were always made to stay home and do housework, they were not allowed to go outside, get an education, or get a paying job, and their husband was allowed to beat her.
If a husband beats his wife should we tell her to shutup and clean the dishes because historically woman were discriminated against for hundreds of years? Gee I wonder.

I think previous discrimination might be reason to protest. Protest led to the eventual freedom of african-american slaves, for example.

There are genocides going on around the world that we choose to ignore, but anytime someone famous or otherwise in the United States merely utters something like "queer" there is this huge media uproar, and all these gay and lesbian groups stir up this huge protest and all useless [censored] that people do not want to hear about.

However, where was the huge protest every time a black man was lynched back in the 18 and 19 hundreds? Where was the protest when thousands of Native Americans were massacred and forced to move from their homelands in the early days of U.S. history?
And where are the protest today about the hundreds of thousand of people in Sudan, where a genocide is going on right now, while still more are losing their homes, their children, their way of life, all because of a few ethnic differences? Where is their media coverage?
