Anyone bought anime magazines?

I don't know those magazines (for obvious reasons), but I have to say that I don't even buy the local anime-mags. Why? Two of them are more like readers digests with lots and lots of manga pages and very little info, written for kids under 16. And the other two are for a greater audience but still mostly focus on what is in instead of what is worth mentioning. I would wish for an informative magazine focusing on what's new here, but also what's new in Japan to know what we could expect in the near future. And since the classics aren't really covered I would love to just have a guide of a kinda random series/film. Things like Lady Oscar, Queen Millenia and lots and lots more shouldn't be forgotten...

I have at least one issue of all those magazines but they're really becoming expensive. It sucks that I can't really afford to buy them anymore.

Weeeeeeeell, I'd have to say Shonen Jump. I talked my mom into getting me a subscription, and I havent regretted it since!! I thank it. If I hadnt gotten it, then I wouldnt have known many of the animes and mangas I now know and love!! XD

I have a lot of addictions. But anime, manga, music, and movies are by far my worst ones.

I LOVE them! I couldn't live without anime, manga, music, and movies. Well, alright I COULD if I had to, but life wouldn't be half as much fun.
