The anime Dagger of Kamui has a guy trained to be a ninja seeking revenge on the man that killed his family that he gets blamed for ends up in America. There he saves what I thought was an Indian girl, turns out she was French and raised by Indians. Oh well.

There's on old cartoon called Brave Starr. Its not an anime, but the main character, Sheriff Brave Star is a native american with, uhm, "powers". Strength of the Bear, Speed of the Puma, Eyes of the Hawk, and Ears of the Wolf. Over all, its a decent cartoon, albeit a little cheesy. He also has a talking horse with bionic legs named Thirty-Thirty.
