This is for TRUE Gundam fans that want to represent! I like Gundam Seed alot and with the new Gundam Seed Destiny I was just wondering if any of you had any comments?

I like Gundam Seed its my Fav, In Gundam Seed Destiny Kira Yammato is not the Main character that is lame because in Destiny it is some Zaft Idiot, I just hope it turns out to be as good as the original Seed!. >.<

the idiot's name is shinn, he's not really an idiot but a big brat but i think destiny will be better than seed........

Although Shin is a brat he is a very good piolet. And at one point he beats Kira.

If you think about it Shin being the main character isn't any different than Zeta Gundam, where Kamille replaces Amuro as the main character. Kind of gives the story a different perspective when the focus of the story isn't a character that has become a living legend in it.

Shin and Kamille have a much in common, their both brats and they have a can be compaired to a legendary pilot before them. That's a little too much to expect of any one really.

Yeah good point but still Its kind of wired that Shin plays the main part after 50 eps of Kira being the main, And yet they completly show a different side of the story by revealing more of the Zaft side!

havent any of you seen any gundam but the new stuff, like G, seed, seed destiny? i mean you dont just have to talk about the new gundam series, wing, zeta, char and the rest do exist, i think the old gundam shows are the best, i like wing the best though, cos its the first gundam series i saw, way back in 1996, it think seed is okay, but destiny is better. the story is better, and shinn has a more sofisticated character than athrun etc.

just out of quriostiy, how many here have seen the origonal mobile suit gundam?

I have seen most of it, I'm a big fan of Gundam 0083 and F91. Those were the series that sealed my love of Gundam. I have the original on DVD both the series and the moive versions. In fact of most Gundam fans I seem to be the most informed on the Gundam F91 movie. What can I say, it's my favorite.

I don't know how many times I've had to tell new Gundam fans that Zabine Chareux is NOT Char Aznable, nor is he Char's son. But the resemblence is there.

I highly doubt that Str1ke has seen all of the Gundam animes, there are more than 25 different series, movies, and ovas, and quite a few of them are not available in the United States (including Gundam X, Victory Gundam, Double Zeta Gundam, Turn A Gundam, 0083: The Last Blitz of Zeon movie, etc...). I have been a Gundam fan for about half my life, and I have yet to see all of the series. (I can't wait to get my hands on MS IGLOO and the older SD Gundam parodies) Most newer fans are only familiar with Wing and Seed (and that is where the terms Wingers and Seedlings are derived from).

I don't know if you really want to see the 0083 movie. A 13 episodes chopped down into an 1 1/2 or 2 hour movie... well lets say I haven't heard very many good things about it. The OVA series is really the best way to watch Gundam 0083.

And wondering. Did they just release the Gundam Seed series as an cut down into a movie as well? I saw a DVD that said Gundam Seed movie a few weeks ago. So soon after the last Seed DVD was released back in May as well. Why? At least they could have waited for a few more months.
