Character Description: Sparks Jimmy
Jimmy Sparks, a pre-teen boy, is the owner and custodian of Gigantor, the space age robot. In the story, Jimmy is the son of the inventor of the giant robot. He controls Gigantor using a type of remote control box and is reputed to be a boy genius as well. He has been known to aid Inspector Ignaz Blooper (chief of police), one of his closest friends, in solving crimes, and they have had many adventures together doing battle with the criminals of the world. Jimmy Sparks also aids his friend and companion Dr. Bob Brilliant a scientist and inventor like Jimmy's deceased father. Jimmy's other friends include secret agent Dick Strong and of course the great Gigantor.
