Character Profile: Grandmother

Ai Emma's grandmother is never seen in all three series, except as a silhouette behind a screen, working at a spinning wheel. She always lets Ai know whenever a new client of Hell Correspondence has logged in, and often comments on the various cases they take on, not to mention trying to answer Ai's questions whenever she can. Oddly, she never seems to leave the room she's in – except for the times she sets Ai's nagajuban (middle kimono) out as Ai bathes before setting out.
