Character Description: Abraham Van Helsing
Abraham Van Helsing, the ancestor of Sir Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing, appeared in a nightmare suffered by Alucard. In it, Helsing had defeated Dracula (Alucard's original name), the events depicted in Bram Stoker's novel. It was because of Van Helsing that Alucard had ended up bound to his family, which set up much of the story's situations.
