Character Profile: Nozomi Kaminashi

Nozomi Kaminashi is a student at the Setouchi Keijo Training School where she works very hard to become a professional keijo player. Although she struggles a bit at first, she quickly becomes a top contender and even uses a very powerful yet highly dangerous move called the Vacuum Butt Cannon. When she is told by her instructor, Nagisa, not to use the technique for fear that it could cause permanent damage to her body, she refuses. Understanding that there is no stopping Nozomi, Nagisa instead has her wear a special training suit to help build up her muscles in such a way to reduce the risk of harming her body.

Towards the end of the first season, Nozomi finds herself in the final group that will ultimately determine this year's winner of the annual East-West War competition, where the Setouchi Kieijo Training School is the East school and Suruga Keijo Training School is the West. After a tough four-on-four battle, the match eventually comes down to Nozomi and Maya (and Maya's other personality, Kaya). Both are extremely power players, but with a little assistance from her teammate she is able to not only rival Kaya's power but win the victory using her perfected Vacuum Butt Cannon.
