Character Description: Tanaka
Long before Sebastian's arrival at the Phantomhive estate, Tanaka served as the family's butler, ever serving the needs of Vincent and Rachel Phantomhive, as well as their young son Ciel. But when the family was attacked, the parents killed and Ciel taken, he was injured when he was stabbed in the back. Even after Sebastian took over the duties of butler, Tanaka remained on as a steward for Ciel, but has since kept a journal of what happened before and since at the request of Vincent.
Possibly because of his prior injury, Tanaka rarely does any work around the estate. Oddly, the form he usually takes is smaller than his normal height, and is often seen drinking tea. On rare moments, he retains his normal appearance, but usually reverts to his smaller state when he expends too much energy.
