Character Description: Sheeta's Grandmother
Sheeta's grandmother taught Sheeta many spells. During the movie we only hear two of many different good and bad spells.
In Sheeta's memory she remembers the spell when she is in trouble. The spell is "liete latuparietos ulos aleaslos balolietolie" (meaning "save me and revive the eternal light"). This spell brought a robot that the army had retrieved from a farmer's field back to life.
The other spell was the spell of destruction. Unlike the first spell mentioned, the spell of destruction is only one word, "Valuse". This spell made Muska blind, raised the largest intherium crystal to the roots of the tree, and made most of Laputa fall to the ocean. The garden is still there when Pazu and Sheeta leave on the kite from the roots.
