Anime Profile: The Law of Ueki

The Law of Ueki stars a strange boy with a large amount of justice in him. Kousuke Ueki always protects the weak. And he has the power to change trash into trees. As he did this, a girl named Mori Ai saw him, and thus started following him around.

Kobayashi, also known as Koba-sen to Ueki and Mori, is the one who gave Ueki's his powers. Then he met Sano, who has the power to change towels into steel. They became good friends after some moments.

Then he met his rival, Robert. They fought, and was the reason Koba-sen got sent to hell. Kobayashi pulled Anon with him, but he failed.

Then he met Robert's group of ten, where he met Rinko. At first they where enemies, but when Ueki was trying to save two of her companions, one of the guys she was with was shooting tomatoes (for his power was to change tomatoes into lava). At first she fired beads at him (because her power was to change beads into bombs). Then she protected him by shooting a bead to the tomato of the guy she was with.

He also met Tenko in a fight. He was out of hell's prison. And because of that fight he discovered that Ueki is a heavenly being.

Here in this show you will see lots of lessons and morals. You will be inspired in every fight of Ueki, for he has a strong will to protect his friends and to follow the justice that Kobayashi showed him.

The Law of Ueki tells the story of the Battle of the Supernatural Powers, to decide who is worthy to be the next King of the Celestial Tournament. One hundred (100) candidates is required to choose a high school student to act as their fighter. Each of the students are given a very unique power-- the power to change something into something else, (i.e. changing cottons into stake, soil into cannon balls, beads into bombs, towels into steel, or even trash into trees!) as considering it to weapon for fighting. The winning student will be given the Blank Talent (or Blank Zai), a talent they can choose whatever they wish. Which lead some students on wanting to gain this Blank Talent for their own thoughts of selfish, and greedy schemes.

There comes upon a young, thirteen year-old student named Kousuke Ueki, with the ability to change trash into trees. Given to him by his teacher Kobayashi or Koba-sen (Mr. K in the jap. version). Joining this tournament, Ueki decided to win the tournament himself; to keep the Blank Talent from falling to the wrong hands, from those who are planning to would abuse it.

He is joined by his friends Ai Mori, Sano Seichiro, Hideyoshi Soya, Rinko Jerrard, and Tenko as they go through the tournament facing opposition along the way; come face-to-face with Robert Haydn, a mysterious being with a very mysterious ability and his ten fighters included in the tournament; and also discover the meaning of friendship, teamwork and justice!

The Law of Ueki revolves around a junior high student named Kosuke Ueki, and it tells the story of battles of power users in order to get the blank talent and to determine who's candidate will be the next God.

Each god candidate chooses a junior high student to be their power user and they give them a power to use in the tournament. Ueki's god Candidate is sent to hell early in the tournament because he interferes in a fight which is against the rules. So Ueki strives for his god candidate, Kobayshi's justice, and wants protect the blank talent from evil users.

With the help of a non-power user, Ai Mori, Rinko Rerrard, Seiichiro Sano, Hideyoshi, and Tenko, Ueki reaches his goal.
