Character Description: Haruhi Suzumiya
The oddest student anyone could meet, Haruhi Suzumiya is the brash and exuberant leader of the S.O.S. Brigade. From the time she had set foot in high school, Haruhi made it clear she would rather interact with more "interesting" individuals... namely aliens, ESPers, time travelers and the like. She had even founded the S.O.S. Brigade (with the involuntary help of Kyon) so that she could be able to find these "interesting" individuals. Her obsession is such that she doesn't think much of the "normal" students in school.
Although she is an odd one, Haruhi is also very talented. She's a natural athlete, and has even showed musical inclinations. However, she's also very selfish and stubborn, but won't harm the other members of the S.O.S. Brigade in her quest to indulge in the unusual.
