Character Profile: Arika Yumemiya

Arika Yumemiya is the protagonist of My-Otome. She is commonly described and viewed as a fun-loving, happy go lucky, ditsy, and naive girl. She travels to Windbloom to find her mother, who all she knew about was that she was an Otome.

Arika quickly starts up a rivalry with the bratty Mashiro Blan de Windbloom, the Queen of Windbloom, whom she does not get along with, and has somewhat of a friendship/rivalry with Nina Wang, who is reluctant to their friendship. She starts out as a Coral Otome at Garderobe Academy and quickly moves up to becoming a Meister Otome after the invasion of Artai and Schwartz. Arika and Mashiro later set aside their differences and try to work together to reclaim Windbloom.

Arika has a cameo appearance in the last episode of Mai-HiME.
