Character Profile: Reiya Ooshima

Reiya is the reincarnation Goddess of Fertility and Beauty, Freya, who is Freyr's sister. Freya had feelings toward Loki and when she tried to get her father (Odin) to bring Loki back to the gods' world, she was sent to the human world with her memory erased. Her mind combined with Reiya's mind. In the anime, Reiya is the only survivor of an accident in which a rich family killed, and she hires Loki to solve a mystery about her mansion. In the manga, however, she hires Loki because she is having dreams about her deceased sister Lisa; she lives with her aunt, uncle, and two cousins.

Reiya is a young girl with brown hair and eyes that are like blue-violet. She also uses the suffix -desu after every sentence.

Reiya becomes Freya when the necklace Brisingamen is put around her neck, but reverts back to Reiya when the necklace is removed, with no memory of what happens while wearing it. Freya, just like her alter ego, is enamored with Loki, though she's far more aggressive about it than Reiya.

Reiya is also capable of becoming Freya when extremely jealous or frightened, as well as other circumstances.
