Description: The New Adventures of Kimba the White Lion
Discover Anime @ AbsoluteAnime.comTransformers 2010The New Adventures of Kimba the White Lion is Tezuka Productions' 1989 remake of Osamu Tezuka's classic Kimba the White Lion, retelling the story of the young white lion Leo across 52 episodes in richer, more modern animation. Born to the slain jungle king Panja, Leo grows up among humans before returning to the wild to take his father's place and build a kingdom where animals and people might live in peace.
Only thirteen of the episodes were dubbed into English (by Pioneer, with a Canadian voice cast), and the North American release ended on a cliffhanger. Tezuka's saga was later carried to its conclusion in the 1997 feature Jungle Emperor Leo.
