Character Profile: Umehito Nekozawa

Umehito Nekozawa (known by his last name) is almost always draped under a dark cloak, and carries around a cat hand puppet named Beelzenef (Bereznoff in the manga). He's the president of the Black Magic Club, and avoids bright light, no matter what the source. In episode 11 it is revealed that he has blond hair, and always wears a wig to cover it.

Nekozawa's puppet is also available as a wooden doll, and the rumor is that if you write the name of someone on the back they will be cursed. Tamaki believes the curses, thinking he had one placed on him before.

Umehito has a younger sister however, Kirimi, who is his complete opposite and scared of her own brother. She is terrified by the dark and animals, especially cats. When she is confronted with a feline in episode 11, Nekozawa risks the daylight to save her, and promptly faints afterwards. Due to his actions though, Kirimi begins to accept him and his dark side.
