Character Profile: Rebecca Miyamoto

Rebecca is an eleven-year-old girl who at the age of nine entered MIT and graduated at ten with a triple major. Her father is American and her mother is Japanese, however she has her mother's surname. She is the second daughter to her family. She returned to Japan and took a job at teaching at Peach Moon Academy and is both a math teacher and the homeroom teacher to class 1-C.

While she is a genius she is still a child and this is often shown when her students play tricks on her or in Rei's case yell at her. When this happens she hides behind something, usually the curtain of the classroom either shaking in fear or sticking her tongue out while making some sort of rude remark.

She also wears childish outfits and whenever one of her students calls her little, cute, or anything like that as well as force her to do anything such as get fire wood during the camping trip she'll scream about how she's a teacher and shouldn't be made to do things like that.

But despite all this she's a sweet little girl who really cares about her students and acts modest when praised.
