Character Profile: Mr. Mime

Mr. Mime is one of the original 150 pokemon. There is a circus that has a Mr. Mime, but it's lazy. So when Ash, Misty, and Brock find the circus, the ringmaster has Ash dress up as a Mr. Mime.

Ash's mom finds out that her son is dressed up as a Mr. Mime after seeing Team Rocket capture Mr. Mime. Unfortunately, Team Rocket grabbed the wrong Mr. Mime. She mistakes a real Mr. Mime as her son, and later on in the episode the Mr. Mime was making invisible walls around Team Rocket's machine so it wouldn't steal the pokemon that are at the circus, and it made the Mr. Mime that is in the circus jealous.

Towards the end of the episode, the wild Mr. Mime stays with Ash's mom to help around the house, such as shopping and a whole lot of sweeping. In the Pokemon Diamond & pearl games, Mr. Mime has a baby stage called Mime Jr.
