Character Profile: Misao Amano

Misao Amano is Sasami Kawai's best friend. They both go to the same school and often hang around together. Misao is a soft-spoken and kind, albeit sickly, girl. Her father, Shigeki, is a world-renowned musical composer who had left the family and has now dissapeared. As a result, Misao is often unhappy and lonely, since her mother has to work most of the time.

Meanwhile, in the magical kingdom of Juraihelm, Tsunami has been chosen as the prime queen candidate and choses Misao's friend, Sasami, to be her champion as Pretty Sammy. The other candidate, Ramia, upset over not being chosen as prime queen candidate, instructs her brother Rumiya to find a girl to interfere with Sammy's efforts. Oddly enough, he chooses Misao and using his magic, transforms her into an enemy of Sammy's, Pixy Misa.

As Pixy Misa, the girl has a different appearence than Misao. She is arrogant, bratty, and often speaks in French phrases. With her magic, she creates "Love-Love" monsters to try to wreck Sammy's attempts to create a better world, but in the end she always fails.

Misao has no memory that she is Pixy Misa and of her activities thereof.
