Anime Profile: The Qwaser of Stigmata

The story starts with two high school girls Mafuyu and Tomo, who are enrolled at the Japanese Eastern Orthodox school St. Mihailov Academy, where they are looked down upon, teased and harassed by other students, that especially from the daughter of the current principle Miyuri Tsujidou. However, this all changes once they find a white-haired Russian boy, and nursed him back to full health. Soon, they learn that the boys name is Alexander "Sasha" Nikolaevich Hell, and he too, ends up being transferred into their class. Also, his cool-attitude somewhat repays Mafuya and Tomo as he repels all the other students but them.

His only reason for staying is due to the fact that he is a qwaser; One who possesses super-natural powers to control one type of chemical element. Being the qwaser of Iron, he was unfortunately discarded by the Adepts, a private organization who experiments on creating qwasers. Now living in the academy, he must prevent the Adepts from retrieving the 'Theotokos of Tsarytsin' from Athos.
