Afterward, she, along with Asuka Langley Shikinami, were reassigned to NERV-Japan.
Mari is English-Japanese, but also has poor eyesight, necessitating the need for eyeglasses. She also has an odd fascination for LCL. Although very confident, her motivation with battling the Angels is unknown.
