Character Description: Hiko Seijuro
Hiko Seijuurou is a very muscular man whose long hair is gathered in a ponytail. He often wears the coat which is the symbol of the successor of Hiten Mitsurugi Ryuu. He is the 13th successor of the Hiten Mitsurugi style. His weapon is the Nihontou, and his technique is Hitenmitsurugiryu.
He is a very powerful person, and is proud of himself. For instance, he says to Kenshin that it is his fortune to have him as his master. He always calls Kenshin "my stupid student", and likes to tease Kenshin with his childhood incidents.
In order to let Kenshin master the last secret strike of Hiten Mitsurugi Ryuu, he almost died battling with Kenshin. This scared the hell out of Kenshin.
Kenshin asked Hiko to protect the people in Aoiya while he battled Shishio. Although Hiko refused, he did appear at the last moment and helped to save the lives of them all. After the battles in Kyoto, he continued his plain life as an artist. Overall, he is indeed a wonderful master, a great guy, and is a cute character too.
