Description: Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd Century
Notice: Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd Century is not Japanese animation! It is a cartoon produced in the United Kingdom and France. However, because it has a style that is strongly influenced by anime, I have decided to include it on this site. If you're one of those hard-core anime purists who can't stand seeing a non-anime series on a site dedicated to Japanese animation, then just press the Back button on your web browser and pretend like you were never here.
As strange as it might seem, the world's greatest detective, Sherlock Holmes, had survived to take on the crimes of the 22nd Century. And even though this is a new century for the legendary detective, he still relies on his time-tested method of "eyes and ears" to solve the most complicated of crimes. And he's going to need it... because he greatest rival, the "Napoleon of Crime" Professor Moriarty is also reborn... and now he seeks to take over this brave new world
