Character Description: Hikari Hanazono
Hikari's father has always been a fan of wrestling, so he tought his daughter, Hikari. At the age of 6, Hikari met Kei Takishama, and lost to him in a wrestling match. On that day, Hikari swore that she would beat Kei in anything, no matter what.
Now in high school, Hikari is in second place while Kei is on top. No matter what Hikari does, she's always second, causing Kei to call her "Ni-san" (Miss Rank Two). Despite that, Hikari always treats everyone fair and is kind-hearted. But she's also thickhead, and a terrible cook.
In the beginning of the series, Hikari is unaware of Kei's feelings for her, until she was told by Yahiro, which makes her panic that it might be true. Later in the series Hikari starts getting feelings for Kei, but doesn't realize it until the series is over. Hikari has a brother who shows up only in episode 1.
