Anime Profile: Spriggan

Spriggan begins deep in the mountains of the Ararat in Turkey, where a giant and mysterious artifact rises from the ice, and is known to be the actual Noah's Ark. Guarding the ruins is the organization ARCAM, a group that finds and protects valuable artifacts and civilizations around the world.

However, a rogue unit of the United States Pentagon called the Machine Corps wants to use Noah's Ark for its own purposes, and use its powers for global supremacy. They are lead by genetically-enhanced child named MacDougal, who has deadly psionic powers. Standing in their way is ARCAM agent Yu Ominae, who travels to Turkey and hunts down the Machine Corps after they murdered one of his friends.

He meets up with fellow agent Jean-Jacques and combats the Machine Corps. However, MacDougal is secretly attempting to achieve his own dark agenda with the full extent of the Ark's powers, and Yu may be the only hope of preventing the world's destruction. In the end, not only will Yu confront the deadly MacDougal and the full power of Noah's Ark, but his own dark past as well.
