Description: Steel Angel Kurumi

Steel Angel Kurumi is a teen/girly anime that takes place in Japan's era of technological developments. It begins when a good-doctor, Aiyanakoji, runs away from his fellow scientists with his creation, The Angel Heart. This invention is meant to be placed in the body of an android, causing it to function with some angelic elements included. His strongest heart, the MARK II, is placed in a pink-haired girl named Kurumi, who is unable to wake because of it, and left dormant in the scientist's basement.

Nakahito is unpopular, bullied, and teased because of his timid personality. Being forced by his "friends" to enter a house because of a rumor about a disembodied woman's head, he instead finds the unconscious Kurumi. Unknown to him, the army led by Dr. Reiko Amagi is on its way to retrieve Kurumi, and the tanks roar causes the house to shake, and the lifeless Kurumi to land lip-first on Nakahito. She then wakes, claiming he is her master for awakening her. Amagi and Aiyanakoji step in, and Kurumi saves the good-doctor and her "Master" from means of harm, retreating to Nakahito's brother, Kamihito.

Reiko Amagi works for a fortress known as The Academy, who want Kurumi back. Desperate, they kidnap Aiyanakoji to lure Kurumi out, which only leads to Amagi's joining. They send out a variety of other Steel Soldiers (renamed Steel Angels) to bring her back. Two of the newer models, Saki and Karinka, join up with their "big sister" Kurumi: one joins to earn Kurumi's love, the other to earn Nakahito's.

Kurumi, Karinka, Saki, Amagi, and Nakahito are racing the clock to bust their buddy, the doctor, out. They'll meet with their fellow Soldiers, admiring fans, and enough drama, action, and fanservice to choke on. It all comes down to discovering the mystery of The Angel Heart, as well as the final choice of who will become Nakahito's companion.

The Kurumi series as a whole consists of the first show Steel Angel Kurumi, four OVA episodes entitled Steel Angel Kurumi Encore, and a second show by the name of Steel Angel Kurumi 2, plus a sort-of dramatic prequel "Steel Angel Kurumi 0". A live-action version was made, titled Steel Angel Kurumi Pure, but has a different continuity to the anime. This show was originally aired in Japan as part of WOWOW's Anime Complex.

Description: Steel Angel Kurumi

Steel Angel Kurumi is set in 1920's Japan during a time of war. There are good people, and evil people. While the good people make robots for the purpose of creating a better future for Japan, the evil people want to use them to take over the world.

A doctor in his basement was creating a good robot, and when he stepped out and an 11 year old boy named Nakahito snuck inside. Nakahito then goes up to the sleeping robot (Kurumi) and stares at her, and all of a sudden the whole place shakes, causing her to fall on him, thus resulting in an accidental kiss. She wakes up and saves them because the basement was collapsing. From that day on she sticks with the kid and calls him master because he woke her up.

Later on, the evil people try to make an evil robot. They call her Saki. Saki goes out to kill Kurumi because Kurumi is very strong and they believe that Kurumi is the Steel Angel that can save Japan. Saki goes after Kurmui and they duke it out.

Kurumi eventually defeats Saki, but Saki sticks around. Saki also likes the kid that woke up Kurumi, but Kurumi just ignores her. They act like sisters (with Kurumi being the big sis and Saki the little sis).

Later, the evil people see that their robot messed up and they make a new one with a steel heart so she'll be full of pure hatred. They named her Karinka, and she later faces Kurumi. But, of course, Kurumi wins, and Karinka joins Kurumi and Saki. Together, they form The "Steel Angels".
