Character Profile: Sync the Tempest

Sync is the second-youngest of all six God Generals. He dabbles in martial and fonic arts when fighting, no weapons. Sync was discovered and made one of the God Generals by Van Grants after being the sole survivor of all the Ion clones tossed into Mount Zaleho.

Sync is one of seven replicas that were created for the purpose of finding a replacement Ion to take over once the real Fon Master Ion passed away, as it was foretold. When one most compatible to Ion was chosen, the other six were to be trashed in the volcano of Mount Zaleho. All died in this sans Sync, who managed to escape.

Due to the fact that he is a replica of Ion, Sync also resembles Ion. This is the reason he wears a mask throughout; to hide his face so the truth of his identity isn't revealed. At some point during a squabble, Guy manages to knock his mask off and catches a glimpse of Sync's face, which is the revelation of discovering the secrets behind Ion and Sync's identity.
