Character Profile: Detective Hagashinada

Detective Hagashinada had been sent by administration to monitor the activities of Britain's tank division, noticing the high damage incidents and number complaints. Leona finds Hagashinada more than a little creepy with his constantly wiping his glasses, and she gets quite incensed when he talks about his ideas of downsizing the division.

It turns out that Hagashinada had been the go-between for a deal with the Tank Police to acquire a new mobile weapon. However, he had been killed and replaced by someone who was made to look just like him. The look-a-like was there to test his own invention against the tank police to prove to Dai Nippon Giken that it was better and they would buy it off him

And he would have fun doing it, too, as he ends up making monkeys out of everyone EXCEPT for Leona. Her ingenuity and sheer guts (as well as her desire to pack heavy heat) were just too much, and boy was she shocked to find out just who had been driving that weapon! The ersatz Hagashinada, however, was murdered in the police hospital by an unknown agent of the Dai Nippon Giken Research Corporation (possibly Mueller) to prevent him from testifying against the corporation.
