Character Description: Lilith Sahl
Lilith Sahl was the prototype of three other crusniks that were created by the United Nations for the Mars Colonization Project, the others being her brothers Abel Nightroad, Cain Nightlord, and her sister Augusta Vradica, a.k.a. Seth Nightlord. Lilith was the calm, reasoning voice between the conflicting personalities of her siblings.
However, during the Human/Vampire War that had nearly destroyed the Earth, Lilith sided with the Vatican and the Catholic Church, while Abel, Cain and Seth fought alongside the Methuselahs, or vampires, against the Vatican. Thankfully, Lilith was able to convince Abel, who had a strong hatred for humanity at the time, that his feeling were wrong and that he should try to look at humans more favorable. It was because of this that Cain had murdered her in a ruse seeking peace. Grieve stricken, Abel had taken Lilith's body to the Vatican, where she was entombed in a glass coffin.
Abel continued to watch over Lilith for over 900 years, before he saved a young Caterina Sforza from death by renegade Methuselahs. In return, years later, when Father Abel was presumably killed by Cain in Albion (England), Caterina, who was now a cardinal for the Catholic Church, used Lilith's nanomachines to revive him.
