Character Description: Baltan-seijin
The Baltans are a race of creatures that appear in almost every Ultraman show since 1966.
In episode eight, the Baltan tricks Jonias into battling the Baltan's pet monster Mikonos, while it takes a picture of Hikari transforming. It then sends a portion of the tape to a television station, and offers the other portion to draw Hikari out. Hikari falls for the plan and becomes trapped in the Baltan's spaceship, which is disqiued as a house. The Baltan paralizes the other members of the Science Garrison, and procedes to battle Ultraman Jonias. The giant monster is killed by Jonias' Planium Ray.
