Character Description: Tobio Tenma
Tobio was a very lonely child. He rarely got to be with his father, Dr. Tenma, and his only friend was a servant robot named Nora. Tenma bought Tobio small gifts in an attempt to replace his constant absences, but Tobio just wanted his father.
On the one day that the two went to the Ministry of Science, Tenma gave his Tobio an air bike before taking him to the robot-melting depot. Soon after, Tobio learned that Nora was going to be destroyed and replaced with a new robot. Furious, Tobio left the building on his bike, hit by a truck and killed. Heartbroken, Tenma built Astro in Tobio's place.
