Character Description: Shunichi Sugishita
Shunichi Sugishita used to work together with Ryoko Takeuchi...before she was transferred to the TAC. Nowadays, Sugishita is the General Manager of the Aragami Countermeasure Management Command Center (whew, long name). He thinks it's pretty cool, but Takeuchi points out that the Center's where they throw the TAC rejects. Still, Sugishita fills an important role, serving as a liason between the police and the TAC.
Take away his inability to charm ladies, though, and you realize that he's still a good cop. He's as determined to stop the Aragami as everyone else. He just has to approach his problem from a different angle.
