Character Description: Boss Antares
Antares was once a planetary pirate himself, and he still carries souvenirs from those raids: a number of unexploded bullets still in his body. Antares is a cautious sort, but he has several reasons to. First, there is the Paradise Law of Titan, which makes virtually anything legal. Second is the children, all the orphans of Titan that are now in his care.
He makes Tetsuro's acquaintance when Tetsuro rescues one of the orphans by shooting and killing the machine man by using Tochiro's laser (given to him by Tochiro's mother). Antares is surprised to see him holding the laser, but since Tetsuro saved the child's life, he shows Tetsuro around. He's still cautious of Tetsuro and Maetel until he uses an X-ray machine (considered crude by 30th century standards) to make sure they're human. Tetsuro's mention of Andromeda makes his blood boil until he hears the reason why.
Antares decides to take action and help Tetsuro, so he goes to Heavy Melder and hides in the Time Castle. When Tetsuro arrives, he reveals himself and provides cover using his own laser. However, Count Mecha outsmarts them, and Antares must make a final move to help Tetsuro. As he says a final warning to Tetsuro, he lets himself explode, shattering Count Mecha's protective shield.
