Character Description: Sakura's Great Grandfather
Masaki was Nadeshiko and Sonomi's grandfather. He grew up with a rich life and loved Nadeshiko. When Nadeshiko turned 16, she decided to marry Fujitaka. Masaki was outraged! Fujitaka, being a teacher who didn't make enough income, was thought to be inadequate for helping Nadeshiko (what a snobby man!). Masaki decided to cut Nadeshiko off from the HUGE inheritance to prevent the marriage, but Nadeshiko didn't care. In that case, Masaki NEVER spoke to her again.
Later, Nadeshiko became deathly ill and died. Masaki then became very melancholy, and longed to see Nadeshiko again, because he truly loved Nadeshiko. Sonomi decided to arrange a meeting for Sakura to met Masaki. When Masaki saw her, he was delighted because Sakura reminded him of Nadeshiko.
Overall, Masaki seems to be quite snobby, and he seems to stop at nothing to get what he wants.
