Description: Cyber City Oedo 808
It is the 28th Century. Crime in the city of Oedo (the new name of Tokyo) has gotten to the extreme point: ultra-complex cyber-hackers and criminals have given the Cyber Police a run for it's money. And what do the Cyber Police use to fight this new breed of criminal... inlist criminals themselves!
Placed in conditiondary probation, three of the worst criminals in Oedo's history have been placed as police officers to clean up the city. This is not easy, though. All of them obviously has a very negative attitute towards police in general, and are not that keen to working as police themselves. To insure that they do their jobs... and to guarantee their behavior, the three have been fitted with explosive collars around their necks. If they do not succeed in a certain amount of time... or if they tamper with the collars... BOOM!!! The price of their success: time off from their sentences... some which exceed at least 325 years.
The three criminals, Gogul, Benten, and Shunsuke Sengoku, come from different backgrounds, and have different ways to fight crime... and all three of them hate the man in charge of their collars, Hasegawa, with a passion. However, they are in no position to argue with him, since he has ultimate control of their collars... and their lives. So dispite their hate for him, the three go out of their way to fight crime... and to win their freedom.
The OVA's three parts center on each of the three criminals featured: Shunsuke first, Gogul second and Benten last.
