Character Profile: Ayako Mano

A relative of Yohko's. She has been taught all her life that it is her destiny to become the current generation mamono hunter, not Yohko, so she is willing to do whatever it takes to get Yohko out of the way.

Ayako is a very smart girl who goes to a school very close to the one that Yohko attends. She is the smartest in her class, achieving the highest score in mock college entrance exams. By nature, Ayako is an angry girl, and at her school she is also known as the school bully.

Ayako is a dead ringer for Yohko, looking just like her. Ayako is trained by her grandmother who is Madoka's twin sister. Ayako's power comes from a bracelet which she wears around her right wrist. Instead of a red silk dress, Ayako's mamono hunter outfit is a slinky black silk dress. Her weapon is a curve-bladed handle energy Whip of Distraction which has a powerful grappling claw at its end. She also has the ability to possess the souls of men with as little as simple eye contact.
