Character Description: Kim Kaphwan
Kim Kaphwan is the taekwondo champion and a defender of justice. Whenever he sees unrighteousness, he will saddle himself up for battle and jump into his fighting stance. Kim always works towards achievement and quality in both his fighting and his personal life. He is married and has two sons, Dong Hwan and Jae Hoon. Kim also has good relations with other fighters, including Terry Bogard. He also runs a taekwondo dojo which has produced notable students.
In Fatal Fury 2: The New Battle, Kim challenges Terry to a match to test his own skills. He gets knocked into the water by Terry's Hurricane Punch and the two become good friends. He makes another appearance in Fatal Fury: The Motion Picture when he attends Joe Higashi's victory party along with his wife and sons. He reunites with his friends before the cybernetic-enhanced Cheng Sinzan comes searching for Sulia Gaudeamus. Kim then jumps into action with his sons cheering him on and fights off Cheng, breaking his mask with a Houou Kyaku.
