I honesly have no idea why I bothered to read this thread (Then again I read at elast most of the threads here partially in case I can find anythign worth sayign to say... so that's probably why... and how I did here is a surprise in and of itself... no offense)

The chemicals are called endorphines, and they are a special protien that reacts in the brain, and spreads to the other cells in your body, it's a natural reward for performing a beneficial task (Sucha as mating, achieveing a goal, or learning something new, etc.) It is also the type of protine that is produced through nicotine reaction, and used to quell pain, this is the cause of masochism in people, the pain causes a greater release of endorphines than normal to the point where it causes a person to feel good.
