Character Profile: Reiko Mikami

Ghost Sweeper extraordinaire and owner of probably the most successful ghost sweeping agency in Japan's public sector. Just remember though, ghost sweeping ain't cheap. Though for the simplest cases she'll charge only several hundred yen (in our terms, that would be several dollars), those near the top of the list easily climb into millions or even billions of yen. But she sets her prices because of her skill. She guarantees that she'll get the job done, and she has all the spiritual skills and tools to do it.

Reiko's tools of the trade are myriad. One of her most prominent is Jin Tsu Kon, her spiritual warding rod, which normally remains compact until she she wills it to extend. Also prominent is Seirei Seki (I believe this translates to "Spirit's Gate"), the mystic jewel on her necklace. She also has used on occasion Kyuin Fuda (literally "Absorption Tokens," more figuratively "Vacuum Seals," they are special envelopes that suck in phantoms like a vacuum), Fuuma Fuda ("Immortal Seal," the classic warding marker seen in most Japanese spiritual circles), and a variety of other tools.
