Character Description: Ken Takizawa
Ken Takizawa (often shortened to 'Ken Taki') is May's often-absent boyfriend, and the one who taught her how to handle explosives. Japanese-American in nationality, Ken's pyrotechnic talent is often sought from mafia bosses to Hollywood producers. He had met May when she was working as a prostitute in a brothel in Chicago's Chinatown. He does have some pedophiliac tenancies, so he introduced May to the herbal cocktail which she takes to stunt her growth and preserve her teen-aged appearance.
Ken also suffers from multiple sclerosis, an incurable degenerative illness that affects and destroys the central nervous system. While his ability to handle sensitive and volatile explosives haven't yet been affected, in time this he will not be able to do so.
