Character Description: Rossiu Adai
Rossiu is a young boy from the underground village of Adai, where the people worshiped an ancient Gunmen as a god. Since the village could not support more than fifty, a law was made that whenever that number was exceeded those chosen by lot had to leave to the surface, very likely to die, which is what happened to Rossiu's mother.
When the two orphans, Gimmy and Darry, had been chosen to leave, Rossiu went with them and the three joined Kamina's Team Gurren (later Team Dai-Gurren). After Kamina was killed, Rossiu replaced him as the pilot of Gurren.
Seven years after the war with the Beastmen, Rossiu became Simon's second in command in charge of New Kamina City. When the Anti-Spirals began attacking humanity, Rossiu, in order to calm the rioting masses, saw no alternative but to have Simon arrested and given a death sentence. He then tried to put in motion a couple of plans for the pereservation of humanity, but the Anti-Spirals foiled his plans. After Simon and Team Dai-Gurren stopped the Anti-Spirals from wiping out all life on Earth, Rossiu went to his old village where he would have killed himself if Simon and Kinon had not stopped him.
Before Simon left with the rest of Team Dai-Gurren for the Anti Spirals' homeworld, he entrusted the safety of Earth to Rossiu.
