Character Description: Soujiro Arima
Arima is quite popular in school. Not only is he attractive, but he's amazingly smart. Many girls always ask for help from him. Thus, him and Miyazawa get along really well and can relate.
He may seem like he has no past, but his is very deep. He was abandoned as a child from a very abusive father. Now, only his foster parents really care about him. Everyone else thought that he'd become violent like his father.
Another way that he is quite close to Miyazawa, is that he also dropped his "mask". On the outside, he appeared confident and self-sufficient, when really he sometimes thinks he doesn't know what to do without Yukino. He started to show his true self, when Yukino really convinced him. His mask was an attempt to protect himself from all his fears and insecurities.
He seems like a heartless guy at first, but he really feels deeply for Yukino. He told Asaba that he loved her because she like him for who he was and never expected anything from him. Once he got to know her really well, they hated to be apart.
