Character Profile: Sofia Velmer

A native of Finland, Valmet, whose family had a proud military tradition, was originally a soldier attached to a special UN force, the Finnish Rapid Deployment Force, with the rank of major. However, it was in Africa that she survived an attack by Chan Guoming – an attack that wiped-out her entire platoon, as well as costing Valmet her right eye. It was while facing a board of inquiry regarding the attack that she first met Koko Hekmatyar, for which Koko seemed to have an extensive knowledge into her background. Facing a possible end to her military career, not to mention the knowledge that Chan was still out in the world, Valmet decided to join Koko's group as a bodyguard, as well as an agent of hers. In time, Valmet found herself falling in love with Koko, although Koko has yet to commit herself to Valmet.

Despite losing her right eye, Valmet still retains the skills she's honed during a life in the Finnish Army. Muscular, yet well-endowed, she has mastered a great deal of weapons, but her personal weapon of choice is the combat knife. But still in the back of her mind, Valmet is waiting for the chance to get revenge on Chan.
