Character Description: Claude Faustus
As with Sebastian Michaelis to Ciel, Claude Faustus is the demonic butler to Alois Trancey. And like Ciel, Claude is bound to a contract to Alois, with the contract mark on Alois' tongue. The reason of this contract is that Alois is under the mistaken belief that Sebastian was the one responsible for the death of Alois' younger brother, Luka Macken. In truth, Luka had died and his soul taken after the contract he made with the demon Hannah Annafellows was carried-out; a village that had wronged the two brothers was destroyed and the villagers killed, save for one woman that had showed kindness to the two.
Like Sebastian, Claude is a loyal, efficient servant to his master. His manner of service, however, shows a bit more flair that Sebastian. He is also in charge of the household staff, which consists of Hannah and the demon triplets Thompson, Timber and Canterbury. But lately, Claude has been intrigued by the soul of Ciel despite being bound to Alois. How he reacts to this is yet to be seen.
