Character Description: Lu Amano
An officer in Miami City's police department, Lu Amano is Yao Sakurakougi's partner and the daughter of the police chief. Unlike her wild-and-wooly partner, Lu seems to have an almost deadpan calm about her... even when Yao is acting like an idiot... which Yao often does. Originally, Lu was assigned as Yao's bodyguard when Leon Morimoto was trying to kill Yao. However, after the case was solved, Yao officially joined the Miami City police, and Lu's been there to make sure that she doesn't get into too much trouble.
One of the hobbies Lu has is wealth management, and whenever Yao runs into money trouble... mostly because her wealthy father had cut her off, Lu is there to lend her a few bucks... at very high interest rates, which Yao often gripes about. But despite all the trouble Yao causes for her, Lu genuinely cares about her partner, and even though she doesn't show it, Lu would often worry about Yao whenever she gets into a jam.
