Character Profile: Mike Kamishiro

Maiku is the protagonist of the show. A year after a news flash on TV which depicted the house where he, his mother, and his twin sister lived when he was still very young. He lives alone on that house, working as a computer programmer to make sure that he continues his studies, until Karen Onodera and Miina Miyafuji come at his doorstep--both claiming to be his twin sister!

In spite of his somewhat harsh personality towards the two, later episodes show that he is a very kind person, and has vowed "never to leave a relative behind", even though only one of them is his twin sister. Even after knowing who his twin sister was, the other one was still allowed to stay.

Mike works as a programmer at home so he is able to live on his own, although the school forbids part-time jobs. He lives in that hour thinking it is the house he had lived in as a child; the only memory of this is the picture he, Karen and Miina share. As a little child he was sent to an orphanage, with the name Mike Kamishiro and the picture. Everyday he goes to school on his scooter, which is also forbidden.
